I am a recording professional musician, photographer, and certified horologist by trade; I post mostly fine-art black and white images of my travels around the world and occasionally a few color works as well. The images I post are my reality the way I see the world around me in my minds eye, sometimes very mysterious and somber while others will be a very literal interpretation of what was in front of the lens. I almost never manipulate multiple images, but I do force perspectives and dodge and burn in a traditional sense to achieve the results I saw in my mind when first encountering a given scene. I shoot both digital and film in various formats and am just as comfortable in a darkroom as many would be in Photoshop.
For the last few years I have challenged myself to shoot with a tiny digital camera (and I do mean tiny)after shooting many years with large format one. The idea was to limit myself to force myself to see in a different way and to ultimately, hopefully, shoot better and become more expressive not having the hindrance of literally pounds of camera and gear to worry about. I do not claim to be great or even good at what I do, it is not about being the the top or the best but all about expression of the human soul through art and in this instance mine.
Below is a link to a few of my original pieces of music from my CD's and live performances I recommend trying the song "Madrid" first.
